EXAMPLES OF BUILDING SIGNS
• Channel letters - illuminated or non, 4-5" deep letters with LED or neon. Channel letters can be mounted to raceways which also stand off from the building several inches.
• Dimensional letters - solid, non-illuminated letters that mount directly to the facade with no backer or frame.
• Wall sign cabinets - essentially lightboxes that mounted flush to the wall with numerous face options.
• Projecting signs - mounted perpendicular to the building with a frame or bracket.
• Canopies and awnings - part of the building's structure, either flat or arched and provide sign real estate at entry points or over windows.
• Roof signs - mounted on the flat or angled surface of the roof in the most visible location.
• Parapet signs - similar to a roof sign but is utilized by the wall or railing at the edge of the roof on some structures.
• Marquees - projecting signs with lighting and interchangeable messages often found at theaters and event centers.
• Sign band - one of many uniform, above entry way signs that are mostly the same color and type. Used mostly in a retail shopping area, differentiated by business name only.

Monument entry signs come in a variety of shapes, sizes and materials. They can be illuminated or non. They are constructed with aluminum, steel, stone, brick and more.
Faux monuments or sign foam signs are very popular freestanding signs. Faux brick, faux stone and faux wood signs are designed, constructed and painted to resemble real sign materials.
